QUICK-LOCK LinerEnd
The Quick-Lock LinerEnd
The abbreviation LEM stands for Linerendmanschette (liner end sleeve). This component in UHRIG’s Quick-Lock system is used to attach liners to pipes and structures.
System description
The Quick-Lock LinerEnd is a system for attaching liners to pipes and structures. The annular space between the liner and the pipe is permanently sealed off, and the liner end is protected against the mechanical effects of high-pressure jetting.
The Quick-Lock MINI LinerEnd in the nominal diameter DN 100 / 4”, DN 125 / 5” and DN 150 / 6” with a length of 140mm is a system for connecting branch liners. The annular space between the liner and the host pipe is permanently sealed off, and the liner end is protected against the mechanical effects of high-pressure jetting.
Application
The proper application of the Quick-Lock LinerEnd depends on the conditions in the specific manhole. There are two ways to connect the LinerEnd:
How it works
- The LinerEnd works the same way as the proven Quick-Lock system.
- The EPDM seal was designed to ensure that the respective nominal diameter can accommodate all commonly used liner wall thicknesses (GRP).
What you need
- All you need to install the Quick-Lock LinerEnd is a pneumatic cutting tools, an installation balloon that is compatible with the system or, in the case of man-entry profiles, the Quick-Lock BIG installation tool.
System advantages
- easy installation
- durable materials
- DIBt European Technical Approval
- leakproof and resistant to high-pressure flushing, IKT-tested (DN 150–600 / 6”–24”)
- balances out shrinkage of GFK inliners
Specifications
Materials
Quick-Lock’s constituent materials, 316L stainless steel and EPDM seal, have proven themselves in pipeline construction for decades. Grade 316L stainless steel lasts virtually forever in municipal wastewater.
The EPDM seal is a state-of-the-art pipe engineering product with a high service life and extremely high wear resistance.
In the case of special applications in industrial settings, refineries, and seawater, upon request, we can supply you with a stainless steel sleeve in special alloys and an NBR-quality seal. For potable water applications, we offer a KTW-approved drinking water seal.
