As part of a rehabilitation project in Aachen, we collaborated with our customer to repair a stormwater sewer using a Quick-Lock BIG DN 3000 sleeve. The sewer required rehabilitation due to leaky joints. The Quick-Lock BIG DN 3000 sleeve, due to its design, consists of four segments that are individually and easily inserted into the sewer and installed near the damaged area. After installation, the EPDM seal was placed over the sleeve and precisely aligned with the section requiring repair. Care was taken to ensure that the sealing nubs fully and centrally covered the damaged area. Once positioned accurately, the Quick-Lock BIG DN 3000 was expanded within the sewer using tensioning tools and applied to the pipe wall.
With this project, we can now proudly record the first successful rehabilitation using the Quick-Lock BIG DN 3000.
